During an exciting day at our Madrid offices, Beatriz Crespo, the charismatic founder and CEO of Freedom & Flow, shared her wisdom in a unique talk on improving physical and mental habits:“Healthy habits are something you have to start from scratch.”
During the challenging evenings of the pandemic, Beatriz stood out by helping thousands of people with her famous Healthy Pills, guiding them toward healthy lifestyle habits. As a result, she is recognized internationally as one of the TOP 100 most innovative and disruptive leaders.
Health, our most precious asset, not only defines our daily quality of life but also plays a crucial role in our work performance and job satisfaction. In the hustle and bustle of modern life, recognizing and prioritizing health becomes the key to overall well-being. That’s why it’s important to recognize the signals our bodies send us and know how to respond. Eye twitches, stress, back pain… The more information we have about our bodies and the better we can interpret it, the better decisions we’ll make.
In our everyday lives, health manifests itself in the energy that drives us to face daily challenges. That’s why the health expert introduced simple and effective“healthy microhabits,”teaching us that spending just two minutes a day on healthy routines can be the cornerstone of a more fulfilling life.
But the importance of health isn’t limited to the home; it extends beyond the workplace. A healthy team is the backbone of a productive and positive work environment. Companies like Culmia recognize that their employees’ well-being affects not only morale but also productivity and creativity.
With that series of healthy micro-habits in mind, Beatriz recommended doing activities that“getyourheart pumping,” that is, activities that require at least a minimal amount of continuous physical effort over a period of time—such as taking the stairs when you go to work, since this stretches the muscles and generates much more internal tension than when you go up them (start by going down them; you’ll reach the next phase later).
This will be the first of several sessions to be held throughout the year to help employees improve their physical and mental well-being. In this case, the synergy between Beatriz Crespo’s vision and Culmia’s mission is clear: to build not only homes, but also communities where health and well-being are top priorities.
