Last Tuesday, July 26, our CEO, Francisco Pérez, visited the Ávit-a industrialized construction site, located in the town of Aranda de Duero in the province of Burgos, where homes under the Community of Madrid’s VIVE Plan are currently being built. Accompanying him was Paloma Martín, the Regional Minister of Environment, Housing, and Agriculture for the Community of Madrid.
Work has already begun on some of the projects under the VIVE Plan that we have been awarded—one in Tres Cantos and two in Alcorcón—and the structural elements and facades will be manufactured at our facility in Burgos and then assembled on-site.
The developments in Lot 3—the lot we were awarded—will be located in various parts of the Community of Madrid. These projects will utilize innovative industrialized construction techniques to reduce completion times by 30% and be more environmentally friendly, as they will result in lower water and energy consumption, thereby improving sustainability.
The Tres Cantos development will feature more than 200 homes with up to three bedrooms and will include a swimming pool, sports court, children’s play area, gym, community room…
For their part, the two developments located in Alcorcón will each consist of more than 130 homes with up to three bedrooms and will also feature common areas such as a swimming pool, a sports court, a children’s play area, and a gym.
For Culmia, in the words of our CEO Francisco Pérez, the VIVE Plan is a response to the challenge of housing access through a public-private partnership, thereby making it possible to help people under 35, over 65, or with disabilities gain access to housing.
