Last Monday, August 15, the 11th day of the Summer Season was held at the San Sebastián Racetrack, featuring one of the most important international races: the Gold Cup Grand Prix.
The races began at 6:00 p.m., and the event that brought that wonderful day to a close was the 6th Race, which Culmia sponsored by presenting the Culmia Harribitxi Award.
Eight participants competed in this final race, and the victory went to jockey Julia Zambudio riding “Linda,” who is owned by the Marquises of Miraflores de San Antonio.
It was a very exciting race, with even more anticipation than expected. The winner wasn’t decided until the final stretch, but in the end, the Irish mare “Linda” made a strong surge that secured her the victory by just half a length and, consequently, the prize sponsored by our company.
This award, named after our development in San Sebastián— Culmia Harribitxi Donostia—has helped raise awareness of this magnificent building located in the center of San Sebastián, on Plaza Guipuzkoa.
