On the morning of the 28th, our CEO Francisco Pérez and the Culmia teamvisited the Plan Vive construction sites in the municipalities of Getafe and Alcorcón.

The event was attended by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid; Paloma Martínez, regional minister of the Environment, Housing, and Agriculture ; José María García, deputy regional minister; and María José Piccio.

This initiative, which is part of Lot III of the Plan Vive that we have been awarded, involves more than 490 housing units in Getafe and more than 270 housing units in Alcorcón.

These apartments, which will come in a variety of sizes and locations, will be delivered fully equipped with top-quality materials. It is also worth noting that the homes in the Plan Vive stand out primarily for their efficiency and sustainability, with the goal of improving energy efficiency—yet another example of Culmia’s commitment to sustainability.

Just as she did a few days ago in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Ayuso was able to see that the construction work is progressing at a good pace, with all projects carried out using industrialized processes that reduce both costs and time.

This project is being spearheaded by the Community of Madrid under a model of administrative concessions of public property to the private sector, which calls for the construction of 25,000 rental apartments over the next eight years with rents up to 50% below market rates.

The first phase of the Vive Plan consists of the construction and subsequent development of 6,646 housing units distributed throughout the region as affordable rental housing. We have been awarded Lot III, whose main objective is to facilitate access to housing for priority groups, such as young people under 35, those over 65, people with disabilities, and women who are victims of gender-based violence.
