- Culmia Protect is an insurance policy that provides protection when purchasing a new home: it covers you from the signing of the purchase agreement until the handover of the keys, and is available for select Culmia developments.
- Through Qlip, the developer offers its customers a utility setup service, making it easier for them to move into their new homes and eliminating unnecessary delays and red tape.

Culmia, a real estate platform that brings together all the housing solutions available on the market, has announced that it is offering its customers two new services designed to provide them with greater peace of mind and comfort during the home-buying process.
Culmia Protect is a home purchase protection insurance policy available for select Culmia developments. This universal insurance policy is intended for buyers residing in Spain who are under 80 years of age and is in effect from the signing of the purchase agreement until the keys are handed over.
It covers up to 12 monthly installments of payments on account in cases of temporary hardship, such as involuntary job loss, temporary disability, or hospitalization due to an accident.
In the event of irreversible risks, it guarantees the outstanding balance on the home from the signing of the purchase agreement until the keys are handed over, in the event of accidental death or permanent total disability resulting from an accident. It also protects non-resident customers (within the EU or the UK) in the event of accidental death.
Supply Procurement Management Service
Through Qlip, Culmia offers its customers a quick and easy way to manage services such as water, electricity, gas, internet, security systems, and insurance.
The main features of this service are its speed and convenience, as everything is handled 100% online, without the need for additional steps such as phone calls.
The service can be provided through two different options: “Fast Track,” which allows Culmia, on behalf of the customer, to finalize the energy supply agreements for their purchases in less than 5 minutes; or the Qlip App service, where customers independently choose the rates they deem best and sign their contracts.
This allows Culmia to take its customer service one step further, making it easierfor customers to move into their new homes. Furthermore, thanks to Qlip, Culmia has greater control, enabling it to quickly activate utility services for its portfolio of properties whenever needed, while monitoring the status of each home’s utilities in real time.
According to Cristina Ontoso, Culmia’s sales and marketing director, “the launch of these two services aligns with our goal for our clients: to support them throughout the entire home-buying process. “Through Culmia Protect, we offer them added peace of mind in the face of any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the purchase process, and with our utility sign-up service, we help them streamline the tedious and bureaucratic procedures that come with moving into their new home.”
These services complement those Culmia already offers its customers, such as CulmiaHome, an app that allows users to manage the opening of building entrances, make reservations in common areas, and efficiently monitor energy use within the home, among many other features; virtual reality tours that allow users to explore a home in a more immersive and interactive way; the home configurator, which enables customers to personalize their homes by choosing room finishes or materials according to their tastes; guides on buying a home, saving money at home, decorating the home, organizing a move, and healthy living and sustainable construction; as well as mortgage and energy calculators available to its customers.
