In the November issue of *Al día con Culmia*, we look back on a pivotal month for the company and for the real estate sector, marked by recognition of internal talent, the addition of strategic leadership, efforts to promote affordable housing, urban regeneration, and intense institutional and industry activity focused on sustainability, innovation, and public-private partnerships.
This month, Culmia was recognized as a Great Place to Work®, a milestone that highlights its corporate culture based on trust, accessible leadership, camaraderie, and a sense of pride in belonging. This recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to creating work environments where people feel heard, valued, and have real opportunities for professional development.
November was also marked by efforts to strengthen corporate governance, with the appointment of Ana Estrada as an independent board member. She brings a strong international track record in institutional real estate investment, team leadership, and diversity, all of which align with Culmia’s strategy for growth and attracting investment.
In the industry, Culmia made a strong showing at SIMED 2025, where it shared its vision for the future of the residential market, innovation, sustainability, and the industrialization of construction. The participation of various executives in panel discussions, trade publications, and the opening session—along with a distinctive, experiential booth—reinforced Culmia’s position as a leader in design, innovation, and responsible housing.
The month was also marked by the launch of new residential projects, with the expansion of Culmia’s portfolio in Barcelona and its metropolitan area through new developments that prioritize energy efficiency, sustainable materials, and integration into expanding natural and technological environments. In addition, construction began on 117 affordable rental units in Benidorm as part of a public-private partnership in the Valencian Community, further solidifying Culmia’s role as a key player in the development of affordable, efficient, and certified housing.
In November, Culmia further reinforced its commitment to innovation, young talent, and responsible construction by hosting the Mario Armero Awards, an initiative designed to recognize academic projects focused on sustainability, decarbonization, and industrialization, thereby driving the sector’s future through academia.
This month’s institutional agenda included Culmia’s participation in conferences and debates on public-private partnerships-private partnerships, real estate marketing, and innovation in communication, as well as the launch of an ambitious urban transformation project in Badia del Vallès, which will contribute to the regeneration of the municipality through new residential and commercial uses and spaces for public facilities.
This summary highlights the key milestones of a month that has further established Culmia as a company committed to people, innovation, affordable housing, and sustainable urban development—a topic we continue to analyze each month in *Al día con Culmia*.
