In the December issue of *Al día con Culmia*, the company wraps up the year with a month full of strategic milestones, residential projects, innovation, financial strength, and industry activities, reaffirming its position as a leader in the Spanish real estate market.
Culmia was recognized as a Great Place to Work®, highlighting its corporate culture based on trust, hands-on leadership, camaraderie, and autonomy. This designation confirms the company’s commitment to providing a positive, inclusive work environment focused on the growth of its employees.
Another highlight of the month was the appointment of Ana Estrada as an independent board member, bringing her extensive international experience in real estate investment and leading high-performance teams. This appointment reinforces Culmia’s strategy to attract institutional investment and consolidate its sustainable growth.
In the residential sector, construction began on Culmia Cala Swing Mijas (Costa del Sol), featuring 155 homes and common areas designed with comfort and sustainability in mind, and on Culmia Portonovo Sanxenxo, with 76 homes, many with ocean views and landscaped areas, reinforcing the company’s commitment to high-quality living environments in the Rías Baixas. In addition, the Culmia Aresta Badalona development was completed, consisting of 49 homes—including 35 affordable housing units—featuring energy efficiency and a design focused on residents’ well-being.
Culmia also wrapped up Culmia Escape, its innovative real estate reality show, and added two new episodes of Spa-Peleo, bringing financial education and the home-buying process to its community in a clear and accessible way. In addition, the latest episode of *El Viaje del Camaleón* explored how the regulatory framework impacts investment and urban development.
On the financial front, the company completed a €100 million refinancing, thereby strengthening its financial structure, reducing leverage, and securing stable funding for its growth plans in property sales, rentals, affordable housing, and land management.
In December, Culmia also strengthened its presence in the media and the industry, with CEO Francisco Pérez Medina appearing on the “Proyectar el Futuro” podcast to share his vision on industrialization, affordable housing, and trends that will shape the future of the real estate sector.
This year-end performance solidifies Culmia’s position as a company committed to innovation, sustainability, quality housing, and responsible urban development, reaffirming its leadership in the Spanish residential sector.
