This morning, the Regional Minister of the Environment, Housing, and Agriculture, Paloma Martín Martín, along with other members of the Community of Madrid and Jesús Moreno, Mayor of Tres Cantos, visited the site where construction on the Plan Vive project is set to begin in Tres Cantos.
The Councilor made this official visit to monitor and inspect the site and the progress of the construction work that began in July. The visit was guided and attended by several Culmia employees and the Business Director, Jaume Borrás.
The main goal of the affordable price of these homes is to make it easier for various vulnerable groups to access decent housing. These groups include young people under 35, large families, women who are victims of gender-based violence, people with disabilities, and those over 65.
The apartments currently under construction in Tres Cantos are spread across two lots, and the units will feature various common areas, such as a community pool, a multipurpose sports court, a gym, and more.
To ensure greater speed and efficiency, an industrialization process is being implemented that will allow construction to be completed by the specified dates in 2023.
This industrialization process relies on the use of the latest technology to manufacture all the structural components of the homes, and the only requirement is that they must be assembled on-site for their final use. This technique reduces delivery times by 30% and is also more environmentally friendly, as it results in lower water and energy consumption , thereby improving sustainability.
