Every May 15, the people of Madrid celebrate their patron saint, San Isidro, and here at Culmia we weren’t going to be left out—even though we celebrated today. During our celebration, we fully immersed ourselves in the day’s festivities and were able to share unforgettable moments once again.
Our office was transformed once again; this time, it was filled with red and white carnations and Manila shawls, representing all the chulapos and chulapas of Culmia.
According to tradition, carnations carry specific meanings: two red carnations signify that a woman is married, while two white ones indicate that she is single; a combination of the two carnations signifies an engagement, and a single white carnation indicates that the woman is a widow.
But there’s more: this time we’re giving away a bottle of “Special Limited Edition Madrid” vermouth, and as always, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast—this time 100% Madrid-style, with all kinds of rosquillas—in honor of San Isidro.
In At Culmia, , we believe it’s very important to enjoy and share special moments like this day, because, after all, they’re what allow us to continue fostering a positive work environment that strengthens our sense of community within the team.
We invite you to explore our blog to discover other initiatives that Culmia supports.
