Culmia, the real estate platform that brings together housing solutions on the market, is investing 13.5 million euros in its fourth development located in the Santa Olaya neighborhood of Gijón, where it will build a total of 63 homes. The developer has acquired the Santa Olaya Swimming Club’s stake in a 1,760-square-meter lot in the El Arbeyal PERI zone, where it already has three developments and is now launching Culmia Arbeyal IV Gijón.

After reaching an agreement to acquire this fourth plot—which was initially shared with the Santa Olaya Swimming Club—Culmia is moving forward with this new development. With this project, Culmia will build a total of 223 homes across the four plots it owns in this area, having already delivered 48 homes and with 114 more currently under development.

Culmia Arbeyal IV Gijón offers a variety of housing types, ranging from 55^{m2 to} 110^m2, with one-, two-, and three-bedroom options, as well as a garage, storage room, and community room.

In terms of sustainability, it is worth noting that the development has an A energy rating and will feature an aerothermal system for climate control and centralized energy production.

Culmia will begin construction on these 63 homes in the second half of 2025, with completion scheduled for 2028. Sales will begin in June 2025.

This fourth development is located just a few meters from the Santa Olaya Swimming Club, right in the heart of the boardwalk. It is a well-established area in western Gijón that is currently undergoing rapid expansion, with all kinds of services and shopping areas nearby.

In terms of transportation, Culmia Arbeyal IV Gijón is well connected to the GJ-10 expressway and the A-8 highway. It is also served by numerous nearby bus routes and is just over a 25-minute walk from the city’s historic center.

According to Celso Gómez, Culmia’s regional director for the central and northern regions, “Culmia Arbeyal IV Gijón reinforces our commitment to Asturias and, in particular, the Santa Olaya neighborhood in Gijón, where we have three developments in a rapidly expanding and growing sector, and we are consolidating our position with this fourth and final phase of the project.”

Since 2013, Culmia has delivered more than 7,400 homes in over 115 developments.
