June 21, 2021.– Culmia , one of Spain’s leading real estate developers, is launching the Culmia Monturiol Mar development, a government-subsidized residential complex located in the municipality of Mataró. The complex consists of 83 homes, plus parking spaces, storage units, and 4 commercial spaces, and is located very close to the city’s marina.
Culmia Monturiol Mar consists of a 6-story building featuring 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom multifamily units ranging in size from 65 m² to 90 m². The units feature spacious terraces and offer the added benefit of ocean views. In addition, the floor plans have been designed to ensure families’ maximum comfort.
Following this launch, Culmia now has 38 projects in Catalonia, comprising nearly 1,700 homes.
This new-construction development in Mataró stands out for its A energy rating, thanks to—among other features focused on energy efficiency and sustainability—a continuous insulation system on the facade that wraps around the building to prevent temperature loss or gain inside the homes.
In the words of Josep María Cases, Regional Director for Catalonia, “Culmia Monturiol Mar is an ideal housing option for all types of families because of the opportunities it offers to live in a city like Mataró. It has all the necessary amenities and is located just 30 km from the Catalan capital, where residents can also enjoy being close to the sea.”
Located very close to the Mataró marina and the Tecno Campus university center, Culmia Monturiol Mar is just a short distance from downtown, where all the services and recreational and sports facilities are located. In addition, it has good public transportation connections—with the Renfe Cercanías station very close by—as well as excellent access to expressways and highways such as the C-32 and C-60, which connect to Barcelona.
Since 2013, Culmia has delivered more than 5,000 homes throughout Spain and has a sales portfolio of 80 developments and 4,000 homes, as well as land to develop an additional 11,000 homes.
