January 25, 2022.— Culmia, one of Spain’s leading real estate developers, announces the launch of a new phase at Arbeyal Beach in Gijón, which joins another phase already announced last May. This new development will consist of 55 two- and three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 91 m² to 135 m², in addition to 74 parking spaces.
The development features indoor common areas, such as the Social Club and a children’s play area, for families looking for places to socialize in a beautiful setting near the well-known Arbeyal Beach.
The homes feature spacious terraces, many of which face the ocean. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2023, with the first new homes set to be delivered in the first half of 2025.
With this new development, Culmia now has a portfolio of more than 400 homes across 8 projects in the Principality of Asturias.
In terms of sustainability, the development has an A energy rating, with homes built and equipped with top-quality materials and exterior wall insulation that helps regulate the temperature inside the building. Its energy-efficient system utilizes a high-performance communal gas boiler and an air-source heat pump to provide domestic hot water and heating. In addition, the building is equipped with individual utility meters that help reduce energy consumption.
According to Javier del Castillo, Culmia’s regional director for central and northern Spain, “this second development on Arbeyal Beach demonstrates the company’s confidence in and commitment to the region and to an area that is poised to become one of the city’s most dynamic and sustainable neighborhoods.” Since 2013, Culmia has delivered more than 5,000 homes throughout Spain and has a marketing portfolio of 80 developments and 4,000 homes, as well as land to develop 11,000 more homes.
