June 11, 2025 – Culmia, the real estate platform that brings together all the housing solutions on the market, held another edition of Business Day alongside students from the UPM Real Estate Bachelor’s Program. The event was marked by creativity, innovation, and young talent, took place at Culmia’s offices under the motto “It’s not about seeing what no one has seen yet; it’s about thinking what no one has thought about what everyone sees.” The event provided an opportunity to connect with the sector’s new generations and reflect together on how to build a different future for the real estate industry.
During the event, students had the opportunity to hear from alumni of the UPM Real Estate Bachelor’s Program and current Culmia professionals, such as Daniel Tobalo Casablanca, Juan Rubio, and Jorge Herrero Lozano, who shared their experiences and career paths within the company. Next, Culmia’s Management Committee—composed of Cristina Ontoso, Juan Carlos Urbano, Almudena Corbella, Gema Muñiz, Jaume Borràs, Pablo Méndez, and Juan Manuel Borrás—shared their perspective on how creativity and innovative thinking are integrated into every area of the company and its leadership.
Nuria Vázquez Aragón, Head of People and Organization, introduced the group to the fundamentals of the DISC method through an interactive activity focused on understanding strengths and teamwork styles. The day culminated at CasaClub Madrid with a very special team-building activity: Team Painting. This collaborative project involved students working in groups to paint different parts of a shared artwork, demonstrating that teamwork and creative thinking can lead to unique and meaningful results. The day concluded with a cocktail reception where Culmia students and professionals shared their impressions, lessons learned, and reflections on the day’s experiences.
In addition, as part of this event, a very special announcement was made: Francisco Pérez Medina, CEO of Culmia, has been named patron of the Class of 2025 of the UPM Real Estate Degree program. This recognition reinforces Culmia’s commitment to fostering young talent and training the sector’s future leaders. Serving as the class patron involves supporting, inspiring, and sharing experiences with students in the Graduate Program in Real Estate Planning and Management (9th edition) and the Real Estate Finance Bootcamp (3rd edition)—key programs in preparing the next generation of real estate talent.
At Culmia, we continue to build bridges between the academic and professional worlds so that, together, we can build a stronger, more connected, and more human sector.
