July 9, 2026—Culmia, the real estate platform that brings together all the housing solutions on the market, has begun handing over Phase 1 of Culmia MarCelOna Montjuïc, its residential development located in the La Marina neighborhood, one of the areas of Barcelona that has undergone the most significant urban transformation in recent years.
The start of deliveries marks a new milestone in the project’s progress, helping to expand the residential offerings in a strategic area of the Catalan capital, characterized by the development of new urban spaces, improved transportation links, and the consolidation of services and amenities.
Culmia MarCelOna Montjuïc consists of a complex with three towers up to 11 stories high, whose names—Mar, Cel, and Ona—define the development and evoke Barcelona’s connection to the sea, the sky, and the Mediterranean environment. In total, the residential complex features 152 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. While Phase 1 is being delivered, Phase 2 is currently under construction and on the market, with excellent sales momentum.
Designed by Estudio Lamela, the project was conceived to meet urban residential demand for functional, well-connected homes with shared amenities that add value to the residents’ experience. To that end, each of the three towers features a rooftop pool, along with common areas such as a coworking space, a social club, a gym, a children’s play area, a multipurpose sports court, a solarium, landscaped areas, and bicycle storage. Furthermore, as a distinctive feature, the development features a mural created by the urban artist SPOGO.
The development also stands out for its location in La Marina, an area that is establishing itself as one of Barcelona’s main hubs of residential growth. Its proximity to Montjuïc and its connections to various parts of the city enhance the appeal of a neighborhood poised to play a significant role in the urban transformation of the Catalan capital.
“The start of deliveries at Culmia MarCelOna Montjuïc represents a significant milestone for Culmia in Barcelona and reflects our commitment to residential projects that provide new housing in areas with high potential for urban growth. La Marina is currently one of the city’s most prominent areas undergoing transformation, and this development meets the needs of buyers seeking quality, amenities, and a connection to the surrounding area,” says Josep María Cases, Culmia’s regional director for Catalonia.
With this project, Culmia continues to expand its residential portfolio in Catalonia and reinforces its commitment to creating housing in strategic locations through projects that combine design, functionality, and services aimed at improving the lives of its residents.
Since 2013, Culmia has delivered more than 10,500 homes in over 149 developments.
