July 24, 2024. Culmia, the real estate platform that brings together all the housing solutions on the market, is strengthening its presence in Asturias with the delivery of two developments in the city of Gijón: Culmia Arbeyal Gijón and Culmia Atalía Urban. With these projects, the developer now has more than 250 homes and is diversifying its housing portfolio in the region.
Culmia Arbeyal Gijón
Comprising 48 multi-family units with two, three, and four bedrooms, ranging in size from 91 m² to 170 m², along with 60 parking spaces and 50 storage units, the development stands out because all units feature terraces facing the ocean. The residential complex also features common areas such as the Social Club, a children’s play area, and a defibrillator-equipped space.
Located on Arbeyal Beach in the Asturian city, Culmia Arbeyal Gijón consists of several phases, with the first phase already completed and the next two currently under construction. In fact, the development has been a sales success, with the first phase already fully sold out.
In terms of sustainability, Culmia Arbeyal Gijón stands out for its strong commitment to sustainability, as evidenced by its energy efficiency rating of A for emissions and B for consumption, since all the homes have been built and equipped with top-quality materials and exterior wall insulation that helps regulate the temperature inside the building. In addition, the building is equipped with individual, customized energy meters that help reduce energy consumption.
Another of the most appealing features of this development is its location on the boardwalk and very close to the beach. It’s a quiet area that still offers all the necessary amenities. In addition, it’s well connected, with public transportation nearby and direct access to major highways.
Culmia Atalía Urban
This is a residential complex in a gated community consisting of 53 multi-family units with one, two, and three bedrooms, spread over four stories and ground-floor units that feature terraces in the interior areas. The homes feature an innovative design, with large windows that create bright spaces and double-pane thermal glazing to ensure a comfortable living environment.
This insulation, which regulates the temperature inside the homes, has helped Culmia Atalía Urban achieve an A energy efficiency rating—the highest possible. Features such as an air-source heat pump for domestic hot water (DHW) and a high-efficiency communal boiler for heating and DHW support have been incorporated.
The development, which also includes spaces for residents to store their bicycles, has 64 parking spaces for cars, 4 parking spaces for motorcycles, and a total of 53 storage units.
Located in the Natahoyo neighborhood, Culmia Atalía Urban is just a few meters from Poniente Beach and Arbeyal Beach, and close to Moreda Park. It also stands out for its proximity to essential services such as daycare centers, schools, supermarkets, public transportation, and a wide variety of shopping areas.
According to Celso Gómez, Culmia’s regional director for central and northern Spain, “We are very proud of the positive reception our developments are receiving in Asturias. These projects feature homes that are highly attractive not only because of their location but also due to their strong focus on sustainability, spacious layouts, and common areas designed to ensure our clients’ enjoyment and comfort. Culmia Arbeyal Gijón and Culmia Atalía Urban are fantastic options for families looking for a cozy and peaceful home, without sacrificing proximity to the sea.”
