February 29, 2024 – Culmia, the real estate platform that brings together all the housing solutions on the market, yesterday unveiled “Culmia Challenges,” a new special initiative organized by the company that aims to connect celebrities with experiences centered on its developments.
Jorge Fernández, Fran Perea, and Miki Nadal, guided by Luján Argüelles, were the stars of these events, which took place at the Culmia Essència Sarrià development in Barcelona, the Culmia Ciencias Park development in Seville, and the Culmia Atalía Urban development in Gijón. The celebrities took on three challenges at each of these locations, which provided a relaxed opportunity to learn about the features of the apartments, common areas, and surroundings offered by these developments.
Luján Argüelles, the emcee, was in charge of welcoming each celebrity and explaining the challenge they would face at each of the Culmia locations. After the challenges were completed, a Culmia panel of judges evaluated them.
The first challenge was the Gastronomy Challenge. Jorge Fernández, a well-known former basketball player, model, actor, and host of the show *La Ruleta de la Suerte*, had to prepare a dish using ingredients chosen by spinning a wheel. The culinary experience took place at the Culmia Essència Sarrià development, located in Barcelona’s upper city, which features 12 exclusive two- to five-bedroom homes with terraces, penthouses with solariums, and a communal pool.
The second challenge was the Decorating Challenge. Fran Perea, an actor and singer, had to decorate the living room of one of the homes with the added challenge that the style had been previously chosen by social media users, and with a budget of €2,000 to purchase everything needed in the Sevilla Este neighborhood, where the Culmia Ciencias Park development is located. This development consists of 239 one- to four-bedroom homes, with some units featuring a parking space and a storage room. In addition, the development features a Social Club, a Kids’ Area, a Coworking Space, a community pool, a playground, and a cardio-protected area. It was designed with the vision of a modern residential complex committed to energy efficiency.
Miki Nadal, a comedian, host, and actor, took on the Comedy Challenge. For the challenge, he had to prepare a monologue inspired by all the experiences he’d had in a home and perform it on a small stage set up in the model unit of the Culmia Atalía Urban housing development, located in Gijón, very close to the beaches of Poniente and Arbeyal, where Culmia has another development with the same name. This development, consisting of 53 units spread across four floors and ground-floor units with terraces opening onto an interior courtyard, features three-bedroom layouts and an energy efficiency rating of A, the highest possible.
In the words of Cristina Ontoso, Culmia’s Sales and Marketing Director, “Culmia Challenges joins the unique special initiatives we’ve already launched to raise awareness and continue positioning the brand and the company. “At Culmia, we like to innovate, create experiences, and work with the best ambassadors to expand our audience and raise awareness of our product.”
The event took place yesterday at the Teatros de Luchana in Madrid and was attended by the participants in the challenges and prominent figures from the real estate sector. In an experiential format modeled after a movie premiere, host Luján Argüelles interviewed each of the participants and had the opportunity to share experiences with them. The event continued with an interactive segment that highlighted each challenge through contests and hands-on activities.
“Culmia Challenges” aims to generate brand visibility and maintain the company’s existing market position. To this end, an ambitious outreach plan has been developed to publicize each challenge.
This marks the third special initiative organized by Culmia to position its brand. The previous two were “Vitamina Home, ” a project in collaboration with interior designer VG Living as part of Casa Decor, making Culmia the first developer to achieve this milestone. The project brought two current interior design trends to life in an apartment: the concept of the home as a space for happiness and the efficient use of space—all imbued with Culmia’s signature attributes. The second initiative was “Culmia Fest,” a series of musical events featuring acoustic concerts by Carlos Baute, Antonio Carmona, Chenoa, Manu Tenorio, and Mikel Erentxun, held at its model apartments and sales offices.
