- Culmia has hired two professionals who graduated from the ASPRIMA-UPM Real Estate Degree program and is currently hosting an intern from the current class.

March 23, 2023 – Culmia, Spain’s leading residential real estate project management platform, held another edition of “Culmia Day in the Real Estate Bachelor’s Program,” organized in collaboration with the ASPRIMA-UPM Real Estate Bachelor’s Program. The goal of the event was to promote the employability of students in the real estate degree program at the UPM, the Madrid Association of Real Estate Developers (ASPRIMA), and the Spanish Association of Real Estate Developers and Builders (APCEspaña) through direct contact with industry professionals.
“Culmia Day at Grado Inmobiliario,” held at the developer’s corporate headquarters in Madrid, has been dubbed “Casa de las Conexiones” (House of Connections) in recognition of the importance of connections between academic talent and the professional world, people, teams, and processes….
The day began with a welcome address to the students from Culmia’s Management Committee, a talk during which concerns were addressed and experiences and knowledge were shared. This was followed by an improvisational theater performance by Jamming Show, in line with the event’s objective. It continued with a presentation by a former undergraduate student who now works at Culmia and concluded with a diversity workshop organized by the Human Resources team, which included remarks by Almudena Corbella, Culmia’s Director of People, addressed to all the students.
This is one of the many networking sessions organized periodically between the undergraduate program and partner companies with the aim of furthering the goal for which these studies were established: to design an undergraduate program tailored to the needs of professionals at the forefront of the real estate sector.
Its origins date back to 2017, when ASPRIMA recognized that academic training was not aligned with the profiles of young people or with the demands of the real estate industry; consequently, it established this bachelor’s degree program with the aim of improving the employability of individuals who did not yet have professional experience in this field. Subsequently, the program evolved and adapted to accommodate other types of candidates with experience, offering them an added benefit to their education. As a result, this degree program boasts a 100% employment rate.
Culmia counts among its staff three individuals who graduated from this program: Juan Rubio, marketing manager; Jorge Herrero, strategy analyst; and Daniel Tobalo, an intern; and the company collaborates with the bachelor’s program on other networking activities.
In the words of Almudena Corbella, Director of People at Culmia, “‘Company Day’ is a perfect initiative for meeting top talent and, in turn, allowing these young people to get a firsthand look at what it’s like to work at a leading real estate company. These future real estate professionals receive the ideal training, as the program was developed by the companies in collaboration with ASPRIMA and APCEspaña and is supported by the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Without a doubt, this is an essential experience for both the academic and business worlds.”
According to Víctor Sardá, Director of the ASPRIMA–UPM Real Estate Degree Program, “Culmia Day in the Real Estate Degree Program is an occasion filled with joy and generosity. The joy that our students can have direct contact with the people who lead the sector where they want to build their professional careers. The generosity of a company that, for one afternoon, sets aside its busy schedule to devote its time to our students. This is not something that happens every day, which is why we make sure our students know it, and we are infinitely grateful to Culmia.”
The “Business Day” initiative will also be held at other companies in the sector, such as Aedas, Savills, and Vía Ágora.
