January 17, 2023.—Culmia, a real estate platform that brings together all the housing solutions available on the market, announces the start of construction on the second phase of its development located on Arbeyal Beach: Culmia Arbeyal II Gijón.
This new development consists of 55 two- and three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 89 m² to 117 m², as well as 74 parking spaces and 55 storage units.
The development stands out for its spacious landscaped areas, its common spaces—such as the Social Club and the Children’s Play Area—and its commitment to healthy living, as it features a Bicycle Area and a Heart-Healthy Area. It also stands out for its spacious terraces and the ocean views enjoyed by many of its units.
Another highlight of the development is its energy efficiency rating of A—the highest possible—since the homes are built and equipped with top-quality materials and feature exterior wall insulation that helps regulate the temperature inside the building.
And with the goal of reducing energy consumption, the building features a highly energy-efficient system that uses a high-efficiency communal gas boiler to provide domestic hot water and heating, supplemented by an air-source heat pump and equipped with individual consumption meters.
According to Javier del Castillo, Culmia’s regional director for the central and northern regions, “the Culmia Arbeyal II development in Gijón stands out, above all, for its location on one of Gijón’s most important beaches. It’s a rapidly growing area with all amenities within easy reach; it’s also perfectly connected to Oviedo and Avilés, via both public and private transportation.”
Deliveries of the new homes are expected to begin in the first half of 2025. With this new development, Culmia now has a portfolio of more than 400 homes across 8 projects in the Principality of Asturias.
