With this purpose, we have formalized our incorporation to buildingSMART Spain, the non-profit association that leads the adoption of open BIM standards and promotes interoperability between the different agents in the sector.

buildingSMART Spain is part of the international buildingSMART network, a global organization present in more than 30 countries that works to drive digitalization and collaboration in the field of building and infrastructure. Each national chapter adapts BIM standards and methodologies to the reality and needs of its local environment, promoting a more transparent, efficient and innovative ecosystem.

Our participation in this network allows us to actively collaborate with leading companies and developers, and to participate inspecialized forums and working groupswhere best practices and technological advances in the sector are defined.

Through this alliance, we reinforce our position as an active agent in the digitalization of the construction process, promoting the adoption of tools, methodologies and processes to optimize information management in all phases of the project life cycle.

In addition, this initiative is part of our strategy of innovation and continuous improvement, which includes the pilot project of digitization in Pinto, developed together with Culmia’s Plan Vive team. This success story represents a firm step towards the implementation of digital processes that improve traceability, efficiency and sustainability in the execution of works.

With our incorporation to buildingSMART Spain, a process developed by Culmia’s BIM team, we take a new step towards a more open, collaborative and responsible construction model, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and with our vision of a future where technology and sustainability go hand in hand.
