Culmia, the real estate platform that integrates all housing solutions in the market, has been awarded at the KOBAH 2025 Awards for its Plan VIVE I project. Specifically, the company has been recognized in the category of ‘Medium Project’ for the presentation of the Plan VIVE I as a benchmark in efficiency, collaboration and continuous improvement through the methodology of Lean Construction methodology.
The KOBAH Awards, held in both Spain and Mexico, recognize companies and projects for their work in implementing the Lean Construction philosophy, thus rewarding excellence, efficiency and innovation in the international real estate sector.
Lean Construction, also known as zero-loss construction, is a construction project management philosophy that focuses on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency at every stage of the construction process. Thus, it seeks to improve quality, reduce costs and shorten lead times.
In this context, the Plan VIVE I project has established itself as a benchmark that reflects Culmia’s firm commitment to transforming the real estate sector, validating the company’s strategic vision and its aim to lead the industry towards a more innovative, collaborative and sustainable model.
Currently, the company has 3,406 homes in the study phase, 978 homes in the project phase, 2,008 in execution and 1,763 homes delivered under this methodology, consolidating the path towards a more efficient development model oriented towards continuous improvement in the real estate sector.
The event was attended by Andrés Rituerto, Development Director of Plan VIVE, and Marta Parrilla, Head of Planning and Process Quality, on behalf of Culmia, during the award ceremony, which was held at the Lean IPD Congress in Madrid last Thursday, Andrés Rituerto said: “This award is a recognition of Culmia’s collective work and determination to drive a real change in the way real estate projects are planned and executed. The VIVE I Plan demonstrates that efficiency, collaboration and continuous improvement are not only possible, but that they lay the foundations for a new standard for the sector”.
In his speech, he also highlightedthe importance of team commitment: “This achievement has been possible thanks to the commitment of the teams, their willingness to share knowledge, take on new challenges and, especially, the dedication shown at every stage of the process”.
Since 2013, Culmia has already delivered more than 8,000 homes in over 126 developments.
