10 September 2021. Culmia, one of Spain's leading property developers, launches Culmia Harribitxi Donostia, a luxury five-storey development comprising 15 luxury homes with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms that stand out for their finishes and the use of high quality materials. In addition, the homes have a storage room and direct garage and the ground floors have commercial premises.
Culmia Harribitxi Donostia was born from a refurbished historic building dating from the late nineteenth century, whose facade has been respected for its architectural value and some elements have been restored to return them to their original state.
In this development, both in the homes and in the communal areas, all the elements have been taken care of in great detail to ensure harmony with the historic building, as well as comfort and sophistication. The homes have been designed to optimise the distribution of the spaces and have a decoration inspired by geometry and design.
The development, built to the highest standards of efficiency, has an A energy rating. Thanks to different functionalities, it ensures an ideal and stable temperature inside every home. The homes are also equipped with efficient and sustainable heating and ventilation systems and double-glazed windows that ensure the thermal and acoustic insulation of the homes while contributing to energy savings. The composition of the façade glazing has also been designed to limit heat loss while reinforcing acoustic insulation.
Following this launch, the company now has 12 projects underway in the central and northern region, involving more than 650 homes.
According to Javier del Castillo, Culmia's Central and Northern Regional Director, "Culmia Harribitxi Donostia is one of our most special developments. Located in a refurbished historic building in the heart of San Sebastian, it offers families a magnificent option for a new luxury home that combines attention to detail, the use of fine materials and the optimisation of the distribution of spaces with the exclusivity of living in a building as outstanding as Harribitxi: the jewel in the crown of Donostia".
The development is located in what is known as the romantic area of San Sebastian, at number 2 Gipuzkoa Square, on the corner of Elkano street, an area full of historic buildings that have hardly been altered in recent years and where there is also a wonderful green area, Guipúzcoa square, which has large spaces and a lake. In the heart of the city centre, it offers numerous leisure options and all the necessary amenities are within easy reach. We must not forget also its proximity to nature, La Concha beach is just a 3-minute walk away and Mount Urgull is also nearby.
Since 2013, it has delivered more than 5,000 homes, and has a marketing portfolio comprising 80 developments and 4,000 homes distributed throughout Catalonia, Madrid, Levante and Andalusia, as well as land available to develop 15,000 more homes in the country.
