It has received recognition for it with the BREEAM rating of “Very good” and is the first residential building to achieve this rating in Spain after the updating of the requirements by the certifying body.

15 March 2022– Culmia, one of Spain's leading property developers, delivers its first residential development in the build to rent segment. This is the first phase of the development located in the neighbourhood of Prat Vermell Marina, a bustling area in the Catalan capital city, which includes a 9-storey building with 68 homes plus almost 5,000 m² of shopping precincts, parking spaces and storage facilities.

The development, which is being marketed with the name Vila Bonaplata, offers different types of homes that range from 2 to 4 bedrooms and with surface areas of between 80m² and 159m². All homes have parking spaces, spacious balconies and terraces and the option of a storage facility.

The residential complex is conceived so that users can share time in the common spaces, as it has a wide variety of amenities. Families can enjoy the swimming pool, the outdoor garden area, the gym and the co-working spaces such as the meeting room, the Agora Room or the spacious hall.

The development has been built with great attention to all the details, with high quality materials and to high standards of energy efficiency, which makes it possible to considerably reduce energy costs. Solar PV panels have been installed for the consumption of self-generated electricity in community spaces and the air conditioning of the homes is achieved through their connection to the District Heating network. The development has a system for monitoring consumption, appliances of maximum efficiency and chargers for electric vehicles. For all this, it has received recognition with the BREEAM rating of “Very good” and is the first residential building to achieve this rating in Spain after the updating of the requirements by the certifying body.
